Scotswood Garden
Three projects received Well Newcastle Gateshead funding, these were: Early Explorers, Early Explorers 2021 and Early Explorers - Project Extension. These were environmental art projects for under 7s and their families, taking place in Inner West Newcastle, that were adapted for Covid. Overall the work benefitted 167 children and their families. Early Explorers ran as a series of three projects from June 2019 to May 2022, focused on environmental arts in Scotswood Gardens, including weekly sessions, a summer programme and, during Covid, online activities including a WhatsApp group.
