Felling Friendly Foxes

The Friendly Felling Foxes was formed in 2021 to deliver community projects that will benefit the pupils at The Drive Community School and others within the local community. They are a voluntary group aiming to encourage local connections and reduce isolation, benefit well-being, and build meaningful relationships between The Drive and other community groups such as care settings.

Knocky Nine Doors Down The Drive is a project that aimed to engage Key Stage 1 pupils and older people with Dementia by exchanging stories about their favourite childhood games. This cross-generational project saw pupils and residents develop their own outdoor games which were brought to life and installed in the school field. Felling Friendly Foxes aimed to develop confidence and enjoyment, as well as awareness and empathy within pupils and build a sense of community, pride and purpose for all involved.
